Music A Level

(This subject is taught by and delivered at Torquay Boys' Grammar School)

Whole class teaching and discussion, both teacher and pupil led; small group and individual work including performance and composition; access to music software available as a composition tool. Students will need to: listen to, analyse and talk about a wide variety of music; study scores of the set works.

Here at TGGS, there is help available with composition and theory, as well as a range of extra curricular opportunities, such as choirs, orchestras, and marching band. Enrichment opportunities are available within the music department, such as leading a junior music group.
