Congratulations to all our A Level and GCSE Students!
The warmest of warm congratulations to both our A Level and GCSE students of 2020; we very much hope that you are happy with your results and feel that they are a positive reflection on the enormous efforts you have made over seven and five years respectively.
This last week has been frustrating for you – in particular for our Year 13 – and we know that all of you would rather have had the chance to show yourselves what you could do by actually taking the examinations.
But, your examination results are as valid as any that have gone before or after.
Well done to you all and enjoy celebrating in a safe way.

The 2020 Real Schools Guide was published yesterday and we've been ranked #1 in Devon and Cornwall!
You can find all the data to show how the results were calculated HERE on Devon Live (on the new page click "Proceed without subscribing"), and the top ten schools are featured in this week's Western Morning News (pictured below).

Online A Level Subject Question & Answer Sessions
To help students joining our Sixth Form next year feel confident about the subjects that they have chosen at A Level, we are going to be running a series of live Question and Answer Sessions starting on Monday, 1st June. For full details of the session dates and times CLICK HERE.
These Q and A sessions will be hosted on the ‘Year 11 Staff and Students Teams’ page and will be led by a member of the A Level subject department.
The purpose of these meetings is to allow staff to relay invaluable information about the A Level course, as well as offering opportunities for students to ask questions. If you would prefer to submit your question prior to the session, please email sixthformadmin@tggsacademy.org who will forward it to the subject teacher to answer during the session.
To help us to gauge numbers for these sessions we would be grateful if you could email Sixth Form Admin to let us know which sessions you will be joining. The sessions will be recorded which means that you can also view them back at a later date.
