More netball success!!
More netball success!!
Our U19 netball team travelled to Exeter University yesterday to play in the Devon round of the National Schools' netball tournament.
They started very strongly beating Exeter School 15-3, followed by a win against The Kings School 11 - 0. This got them through to the next round where they faced Blundells and won 12 - 9.
They were then left with one more match against West Buckland to decide if they would go through to the final. The team played outstandingly in this very close match and won 11 - 6.
But then a blow.... they then lost to Exeter College in the final round but are now in the very proud position of 2nd in the whole of Devon!!
They will go on to represent the county at the South West Regional finals in Bournemouth in February.
Well played everyone - another fantastic achievement!!
